Background

I am a Systems Engineer with a focus on backend and cloud development. I like building services that are simple to reason about: clear layers, typed interfaces and predictable behaviour.

Most of my work is in Python and FastAPI, backed by PostgreSQL and deployed on AWS. I care about the small decisions, like where business logic lives and how data flows between layers, because those are what make a system easy to change later.
